King Faisal ready to secure Ibrahim Osman from Asante Kotoko

King Faisal FC Chief Executive Officer Anwar Sadat has expressed his side’s readiness to enter into negotiations to capture Asante Kotoko player Ibrahim Osman.

Osman was loaned to Isha Allah Boys prior to the commencement of the truncated 2019-20 Ghana Premier League season. He had a fantastic season with Faisal been the most important player of the side.

The attacking midfielder netted 8 goals in his 14 appearances for King Faisal .

In an interview with Kumasi-based Kessben FM, Sadat disclosed that the side is ready to splash cash to secure the talented midfielder on permanent basis from their city rivals.
 

“Many of the players came on loan especially Ibrahim Osman. For Ibrahim, we are ready to negotiate with Kotoko,” he said on Kessben FM.

“But the problem is who to approach at the club. Because there’s been a change of management at the club we don’t know who is charge form. But immediately we identify the person we will go to the negotiation table and begin the process.

“We will look at the best option, if it’s a matter of extending the loan or there is a possibility of signing him out-rightly from the club. We will see.”

Osman’s loan stint at King Faisal FC is expected to expire on July 31, but reports indicate Asante Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu has decided to recall him back into the team for next season’s campaign.

Osman joined the Porcupines from Kumasi-based Division-One side, Asokwa Deportivo in May 2018.
