Ghana Premier League side, King Faisal FC were stunned by second division side Benab FC by a lone goal in a friendly encounter on Saturday at Paa Joe Park, inside the campus of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST)
The game was a preparatory clash with Benab FC handing the ‘Insha Allah’ the lads kind of test they will need as they continue preparations towards the second phase of the ongoing season.
Benab FC managed to hold onto their one-goal lead which was scored in the first half by forward Osman Haruna Alhassan who tapped into the net at a close range from a cut back across which came from the right.

King Faisal look to strengthen their squad ahead of the ongoing season having made 13 signings in the just-closed transfer window including ex-Hearts of Oak duo of Richard Akrofi and Samudeen Ibrahim.
Experience Moro Salifu, Paul Aidoo etc have all joined their squad under the tutelage of new coach Kasim Gokyildiz.

The ‘Insha Allah’ lads are on an appealing run finishing 16th on the league log with 17 points after the first round and will look to improve themselves heading into the second round.
