Black Stars and AC Monza midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has donated sixteen thousand Cedis (GH¢16,000) to the families of the 8 juvenile footballers who passed away gruesomely on September 19, 2020 in a car accident.

Boateng, who just like everyone was saddened to hear the demise of the 8 juvenile footballers vowed to help their families.
“Anything, if they want I will like to help. I will like to get in touch with the families. I want to make them to feel free. I know it’s hard and I can’t imagine how hard it is for parents to bury their kids but I just want to help them to free their mind just to enjoy the lives they had with their kids and free their mind.”
“I want to help in burying or celebration. Whatever they want to do I want to be here to help,” Boateng told JoySports in September.
Just as he promised, Boateng has delivered. The AC Monza midfielder donated GH¢16,000 to the families of the juvenile footballers and has promised to do more for the surviving kids.
The monies were presented to the families of the deceased youngsters at the Offinso Municipal Assembly on Saturday 31st October 2020.
President of Division Two side Sporting Club FC, Fiifi Parker Hanson made the donations on behalf of the former Barcelona and Ac Milan midfielder. He presented two thousand Cedis (GH¢2,000) each to the eight bereaved families.

Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the area, Solomon Kesse thanked Boateng for his gesture.
“It is not even about the amount Kevin sent, but the willingness for him to go to these lengths to do this. It really shows a human side of him and for this, he would never lack,” the MCE said.
Nana Osei Bediako, who represented the chief of the area, Nana Wiafe Akenten III also said: “When we heard that Boateng had promised to do this, we taught it was just one of those things, so we were so happy when the call came that we should assemble the families for this occasion. It means a lot”.

The beneficiaries also heaped praises on Boateng for his generosity and prayed for him to succeed in his endeavours.
