Karela’s Umar Bashiru wins Man-of-the-match award in draw against Legon Cities

Karela United midfielder Umar Bashiru was named the Man-of-the-Match award after his side’s goalless draw against Legon Cities on Thursday afternoon.
The Royals locked horns with leaders of the Ghanaian top-flight in a match-day 12 battle at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Bashiru was at his best as he dominated the midfield display with incredible passes and ball distribution.
The clash between the two teams produced some end to end action but failed to record a single goal as it in a stalemate.
The visitors remain top of the league table with 22 points from twelve games.
Legon Cities FC, on the other hand, has 13 points from twelve matches
Legon Cities will battle Hearts of Oak in their next game in Accra.
Karela United, on the other hand, will play Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC on Sunday at the CAM Park in Anyinase at 3 pm.
