Karela United head coach, Bismark Kobi-Mensah has expressed interest in the Accra Hearts of Oak coaching job following the departure of Samuel.
The coaching role of the Ghana Premier League side became vacant when the young tactician was fired alongside his backroom staff on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, after failing to claim victory in their last three fixtures in the BetPawa Premier League.
Kobi-Mensah, 38, is believed to have been identified as one of the candidates to replace Samuel Boadu.
However, the Black Galaxies third deputy coach has revealed his readiness to help the Phobians should they officially approach Karela United to buy him out of his contract.
“Officially Hearts of Oak has not written to me but I have seen and read many stories of Accra Hearts of Oak interest in me on social media.”
“I prefer to move through the right process so that Karela United FC will not feel disrespected so if the interest is concrete then Accra Hearts of Oak will have to talk to Karela United and then we can find solutions to it.”
“Every coach wants to coach either Accra Hearts of Oak or Asante Kotoko Sporting Club because we all want the big stage so if Accra Hearts of Oak and Karela United FC sought out things, I will join them.”
