Black Stars and Crystal Palace striker Jordan Ayew has become the first Ghanaian in the history of the English Premier League to be directly involved in 50 goals.

The forward who has been in an outstanding form since the return of Roy Hodgson to the club was on target in the Eagles’ 4-3 win over West Ham United on Saturday afternoon at the Selhust Park.

Ayew’s goal in the match saw him become the first Ghanaian player in Premier League history to be directly involved in 50 goals.

The 31-year-old has now scored 33 Premier League goals with 17 assists in 235 appearances.

The striker has now scored four goals and provided two assists so far this season.
