It’s almost a done deal – Ghana defender Lee Addy confirms Hearts Of Oak move

Ghana defender, Lee Addy has confirmed that he is on the verge of joining local giants Accra Hearts of Oak.

Addy, 30, has been training with the Phobians for some days and is 90% through to ink a deal with the club ahead of the second half of the campaign.

The former Dinamo Zagreb and Red Star Belgrade guardsman got his name on Hearts of Oak’s team sheet in a friendly encounter against Hope for Future FC, which Hearts won 5-0 at the Acquainas Park on Wednesday.

Speaking to Starr Sports, Addy confirmed that his move to Hearts of Oak is almost done.

“Well I have always been a Hearts of Oak fan but you know football is purely business now so I told myself I will play for the phobians before I call it a quit and I am relishing that dream now.

“I have been training with them for some time now and its almost a done deal so soon I will let my experience come to bear for all to see that I still have what it takes to help them achieve success “he told Starr Sports.

The Ex-Bereit’s Chelsea player returned to the country last year after a spell in Ethiopia. He and other 18 players were forced to plead for assistance b, ack home due to COVID-19.

Lee Addy has had stints with Dinamo Zagreb, Red Star Belgrade, DaliaArabianan and Lusaka Dynamos.
