1 min readNewly-signed Asante Kotoko midfielder Emmanuel Antwi has expressed great joy after completing his dream move, describing it as a ‘childhood dream.’
The lanky midfield enforcer joined the Porcupine Warriors on Tuesday after a successful medical examination.
The 24-year-old penned a three-year deal after fruitful negotiations with the hierarchy of the Reds.
Reacting to the move, the former Accra Great Olympics player expressed elation, adding that he is looking forward to helping the club achieve more success now that he’s signed for his childhood dream club.
“I am thrilled to be here as it has been a childhood dream of mine to play for Kotoko. I am excited to wear the jersey and look forward to contributing to the team. Knowing some of the current players will help me settle in quickly and focus on the task ahead,” he told the club’s media.
Antwi is expected to join his new colleagues at the Adako Jachie Sports Complex on Wednesday as they prepare to leave for Europe for preseason activities.
