INTERNATIONAL FRIENDLY: We Still Have A Lot To Improve In The Attacking Area – CK Akonnor

The National team trainer has made a call on the need to improve the attacking department of the Black Stars.

Head coach of the Senior National team Charles Kwabla Akonnor is not happy on the way the attacking department of the Black Stars have been sluggish in the recent games they [Black Stars] have played.

This comes after the Black Stars played two games and failed to score in any of those games; Ghana lost 1-0 to the Atlas Lions of Morocco in Rabat, Morocco, and then drew 0-0 to the Elephants of La Côte d’Ivoire in Cape Coast, Ghana in the international friendlies.

“We still have a lot to improve in the attacking area. If there is anybody anywhere that is good we will hand in a call-up. But for now, we have to work on those available because without goals you can’t win games”. CK Akonnor posited.

Ghana’s next assignment will be against Ethiopia in the world cup qualifies which is scheduled in September later this year.
