Maxwell Agyemang, a defender for Asante Kotoko, has expressed his ambition to become one of the top players for his team. Despite being sidelined due to injuries recently, Agyemang made a second-half appearance as a substitute in Kotoko’s 4-0 victory over Real Tamale United.

Agyemang had become a starter under sacked Seydou Zerbo after Yusif Mubarik’s injury. In the game against RTU, he replaced Sheriff Mohammed, who suffered an injury in the second half.

After the match, the towering defender expressed his excitement at returning to the field and thanked the club’s supporters for their unwavering support during his challenging times on the sidelines. He stated that he was back on his feet and ready to fight for the club of the century, Kotoko SC.

“That feeling and the Excitement of coming back, it’s Marvelous!!.Much love to the supporters for their encouragement and their patience all this while. I’m back on my feet and I’m always ready to fight for the greatest club (Club of the century-Kotoko sc). MeSom Kotoko daaaaa!!!!!….,” Agyemang posted on Facebook.

Kotoko will face King Faisal on Wednesday at the Baba Yara Stadium in a betPawa Premier League outstanding fixture, and Agyemang is expected to play a vital role in the game.
