Former WAFA SC assistant coach, Moro Ibrahim, has been appointed to lead the Asante Kotoko youth team.

Moro Ibrahim’s transition to the youth team role follows his recent appointment as an assistant coach within the Asante Kotoko technical team.

Having joined Asante Kotoko as an assistant coach, Moro Ibrahim will now oversee the club’s youth development program.

This move comes after the departure of Abdulai Gazale, who has joined Nsoatreman FC, creating an opportunity for Moro Ibrahim to assume the role of the Asante Kotoko youth team’s head coach.

Moro Ibrahim’s collaboration with his former mentor Narteh Ogum is being renewed, having previously worked together at WAFA SC.

His achievements include guiding PAC Academy to the first division title by winning the Ashanti Regional division two league.

Asante Kotoko’s coaching staff also features David Ocloo and Burton Wilson Arthur as assistant coaches, while Prosper Narteh Ogum is at the helm as the head coach.

Prosper Narteh Ogum’s reappointment as the head coach of Asante Kotoko followed the mid-season dismissal of Burkinabe trainer Seydou Zerbo in the previous season.

Prosper Narteh Ogum initially joined Asante Kotoko before the commencement of the 2021/22 league season, making a return from West African Football Academy (WAFA).

During his tenure, he guided Asante Kotoko to a league championship victory before parting ways with the club due to disagreements with the previous management led by Nana Yaw Amponsah.
