Prince Tagoe has expressed his desire to don the Hearts of Oak jersey for the last time should the Phobians contact him for his services.
Tagoe joined Hearts of Oak from Tudu Mighty Jets in 2004 and became an instant hit in the club.
He emerged as the top scorer of the Ghana Premier League with 18 goals in 2005.
Speaking to Angel TV, the goal-poacher who is without a club since he left Chittagong Abahani of Bangladesh in 2019 said he is still active and open to offers with the opportunity of rejoining the Ghana Premier League champions, adding that he would love to team up with Muntari again.
“I will sign for Hearts of Oak if they contact me. I still have the experience as a striker. With Sulley [Muntari] in the midfield, I can strike for Phobia,” – Prince Tagoe on Angel TV
Tagoe was part of the Accra Hearts of Oak team that defeated Asante Kotoko to win the 2004 CAF Confederation Cup and also scored the lone goal that handed the Phobians the 2004 Ghana Premier League title when they piped the Porcupines in a championship play-off.
The 35-year-old has had several stints in Europe including German side TSG Hoffenheim, Serbian side FK Partizan Belgrade and Bursaspor in Turkey.
