I don’t want to talk about officiating and get fined by GFA – Medeama coach Samuel Boadu after draw with Kotoko

1 min read

Medeama head coach Samuel Boadu believes his side was not treated well by referees who handled their 1-1 draw with Asante Kotoko on Sunday at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa.

Boadu felt some refereeing decisions did not help his club in their Week 4 outstanding game against the Porcupine Warriors on Sunday.

Kotoko took the lead through Kwame Poku but Medeama with a few minutes to end the game levelled from the spot through Abass Mohammed after Habib Mohammed had handled a ball inside the box.

The young tactician is not ready to express his displeasure for fear of being fined by the Ghana Football Association

“I don’t want to talk about officiating because if I voice out what is in me, I’m will be paying GH¢ 5,000 to the GFA,” he told StarTimes in a post-match interview.

“I don’t know the crime Medeama has committed against the referees. Officiating both home and away hasn’t been good for us.”
