I don’t support both Kotoko and Hearts – Bofoakwa Tano striker Takyi Welbeck

Bofoakwa Tano prolific attacker, Welbeck Opoku Takyi has disclosed that although he would not rule out an opportunity to play for Asante Kotoko or Hearts Of Oak, he is not a fan of any of them.

Takyi has so far netted 11 goals in 16 games, topping the goal scorers chat in the 2020/21 Division One League – Zone One.

It will be recalled that his outstanding performance earned him a place in the Black Stars preliminary squad for the 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against South Africa anWelbeckome but failed to cut the finalfeelinghat played the two matches.

“I joined Bofoakwa Tano from their arch-rival BA united and there was no issue between myself and my formal club, ” Bofoakwa Tano striker Takyi Welbeck on Angel 96.1 FM Kumasi.

“It was a mixed feeling when my name was mentioned in black stars call up but never disappointed when I was dropped.

The lanky attacker is hoping to score 20 goals in the 2020/21 National Division One League when the season comes to a close.

” I have targeted 20 and more goals this season and help the club to qualify to the Ghana premier league.

“I also heard the rumours from Asante Kotoko but I have a contract with my current club.

“I don’t support both Kotoko and Hearts but ever ready to play for both teams, ” he disclosed.
