Hearts of Oak have terminated the contracts of two first-team players, Kofi Kordzi and Frederick Ansah Botchway.
The Phobians signed Kordzi on a two-year deal from Qatari side Muthair SC but the forward is low in the pecking order.
Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, Kwadwo Obeng Junior and Benjamin Yorke are ahead in head coach Samuel Boadu’s plans.
On the other hand, Botchway who joined Hearts from Liberty Professionals, has played a few games for the side.
His exit might not be shocking to the club’s faithfuls after Hearts gaffer Boadu criticised his commitment.
Ansah failed to report for pre-match camping in the middle of the season and that was revealed by his coach during an altercation with fans via WhatsApp.
Close sources say the midfielder is eyeing a move abroad despite interest from several GPL sides.
As it stands, Hearts are looking for replacements and Bechem United’s Francis Twene is a huge option for the midfield.
A deal for Cameroonian striker Junior Kaaba might be announced soon, according to media reports.
