Hearts of Oak reach agreement in principle to sign 21-year-old talented midfielder

2022 MTN FA Cup champions Accra Hearts Of Oak have reached an agreement to sign Bechem United central midfielder Francis Twene.

Hearts Of Oak and Bechem United have held fruitful talks for the midfield maestro as they look to revamp their squad for the upcoming 2022/2023 league season.

The Phobians have fended off stiff competition from club’s and are now close to signing the 21 year-old.

Twene has been one of the brightest prospects in the Ghanaian top-flight since making his debut for Bechem United.

His explosive performances has seen him linked to a move away from the Nana Gyeabour Park but reports have indicated Hearts Of Oak have won the race to sign the midfielder.

The midfielder has agreed a three year-deal with the Phobians and will feature for the club in the upcoming 2022 CAF Confederation Cup but that will happen should he fail to attract offers abroad when he joins Bechem Utd training tour in Portugal.

Francis Twene was an integral part of Bechem United team last season as they finished runners-up in the 2022 MTN FA Cup where they lost 2-1 to Hearts Of Oak.
