Hearts of Oak provide latest injury update on goalkeeper Richard Attah

Hearts of Oak have announced that goalkeeper Richard Attah has been treated and discharged from the hospital.
The Black Stars goalkeeper picked up an injury in his thigh and was replaced by Richmond Ayi in the 36th minute of the Premier League clash against Aduana in Dormaa earlier today.
Richard Attah was carried off the pitch on a stretcher and was rushed to the Presbyterian hospital in Dormaa.

The latest update from the club has indicated that X-rays conducted on Attah proved that there are no torn ligaments in this thigh as earlier feared. However, it is unclear whether the goalkeeper will face some time on the sidelines.
“Goalkeeper Richard Attah has been treated and discharged from the Presbyterian hospital-Dormaa. X-rays conducted on him proved that there are no torn ligaments in the thigh as earlier feared,” a post on the club’s official Twitter handled revealed.
Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak lost the game 1-0, courtesy a first half strike by Sam Adams.
