Hearts Of Oak poster boy Salifu Ibrahim wins 8th MVP award in win over Medeama

Hearts of Oak talisman Salifu Ibrahim was voted the Most Valuable Player of the match in the Phobians’ 2-0 win over Medeama at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday evening.
The 21-year-old scored the opening goal of the game and tormented the Medeama defence with his nimble foot, unmatched vision and intelligent play through the game.
Salifu lasted 86 minute on the field as he forced off by an injury he sustained during the course of the game with Umar Manaf taking his place.
The award becomes the 8th MVP award Salifu has won in the course of the season.
The 41st minute strike is also his 3rd goal of the season but he has provided as many as 8 assists in the league.
Benjamin Afutu Kotey scored the other goal for Hearts of Oak who lead the Ghana Premier League table with 53 points.
