The Serbian gaffer has tendered in his resignation letter to the hierarchy of the club after a meeting on Monday, February 15, 2021.
Papic on Thursday, February 11, 2021 threatened to vacate his post following a row between him and the board of directors after a mini-board meeting.

The 60-year-old rejoined the Phobians in November 2020 for a second stint with the Ghanaian giants, having coached the club in 2009.
He replaced Edward Nii Odoom after just two matches into the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.
Papic guided the Rainbow club in 10 matches in the Ghanaian top-flight where he won four, drew three and lost three.
Joseph Asare Bediako, who was his assistant resigned from his post last week citing personal reasons.
