Gold Stars CEO Akwasi Adu optimistic of victory over Asante Kotoko

John Akwasi Adu, the CEO of Bibiani GoldStars, is confident that his team can secure a victory over Kotoko in their upcoming Premier League match on Sunday, May 7, 2023.

GoldStars suffered a humiliating 5-0 defeat in their last visit to the Baba Yara Stadium, but Adu believes that they will perform better this time around.

He stated, “The players will be aware that there is something significant at stake. Last year, Kotoko capitalized on their chances. The game was evenly matched for the first 30 minutes, but we made a mistake and they took advantage of it. We should expect a positive outcome in that game.”

He continued, “…We will approach it positively, and with the support of our fans, we will succeed.”

GoldStars are currently in 7th place on the league table, with 41 points, two points behind the defending champions. The two teams played to a 1-1 draw in the first round of the campaign.
