Ghanaian international Frederick Asare is making waves in South Africa with a consistent great performance in the goal post.

The former Asante Kotoko safest pair of hands has lifted the 2026 Nedbank Cup with his club side Durban City. They beat TS Galaxy 2-1 for the famous victory over the weekend.

Frederick Asare was the number one trusted goalkeeper for the Porcupine Warriors. He assisted Kotoko to make a strong impact in the local scene which earned him a call-up into some national teams including the Black Stars.

He parted ways with Kotoko almost two seasons ago to continue his trade in South Africa.

He has so far been impressive in the South African League and hopes to do more in order to knock the doors of the Black Stars again.
