Ghana’s Joseph Paintsil joins MKE Ankaragücü

Ghanaian international Joseph Paintsil has completed a season long loan deal to Turkish side MKE Ankaragucu from his former club, KRC Genk in Belgium.

The Ghanaian midfielder was surplus to requirement in his later club under head coach Hannes Wolf, hence this move. The 22 year old has been a long term target for MKE Ankaragucu’s manager, Fuat Capa.

Joseph Paintsil joined Belgium side KRC Genk in 2018 from Ghanaian side Tema Youth after his loan spell at TC Ferencvarosi in Hungary.

The Ghanaian midfielder who is a member of the National Under 23 male team scored just a goal for KRC Genk in 18 matches.
