1 min read

Antoine Semenyo, a Ghanaian forward, was on target for Bristol City FC in their comfortable win over Derby County on Saturday afternoon.

The 22-year-old Ghanaian forward played 90 minutes for the Red and Whites, helping them secure a playoff berth for next season.

With a magnificent shot in the 10th minute, Andreas Weimann gave the visitors the lead and placed Bristol in control of the game early on.

Semenyo scored his sixth goal of the season, and his team’s second, with seven minutes remaining in the first half to make it 2-0 at the interval.

The Ghanaian received a pass on the left side of the box and finished sweetly in the bottom right corner.

Craig Forsyth cut the deficit to one goal in the second half, but Timm Klose restored the visitors’ two-goal lead 11 minutes from time.
