Ghanaian midfielder Godfrey Poku named as new captain of Hemel

Ghanaian enforcer Godfrey Poku has been named as the new captain of English National League South side Hemel Hempstead Town FC.
Poku,31, moved to Hemel from Havant and has since been named the team’s captain for the upcoming campaign.
The seasoned defensive midfielder accepted the armband with pleasure and is eager to lead his new squad to success.
“After 16 months out I got through thirty minutes and even though there was a little set back, we keep moving forward. Let’s go!! Grateful to be named captain of the team.” Poku tweeted.
He previously represented teams including Woking and Telford United.
