The Intercontinental Club Masters inflicted a 2-0 home win over the Blues in the week 27 of the Ghana Premier League.

Two first half goals by Benjamin Afutu and Kwadwo Obeng Junior is enough for Hearts of Oak to emerge victorious over Berekum Chelsea in the week 27 fixture of the ongoing 2020-21 premier league campaign.

As early as the 9th minute, Winger Salifu Ibrahim effected a corner kick into Chelsea’s 18 yard box which saw Benjamin Afutu to have jumped over his opponents and subsequently headed home for Hearts.

The home side with greater momentum than their foes increased their tally through Obeng Junior on his third touch with the ball after a quick move and incisive pass from Afriyie Barnieh who located the striker on the 29th minute.

The first half goals eventually became the only goals that kissed the net as Hearts prevented any potential goal from Chelsea whilst Chelsea didn’t allow any goal to be scored against them.

Hearts of Oak after the 2-0 victory, extended their points to 49, two more than arch rivals Asante Kotoko.

Therefore, Hearts with 49 points, continues to remain on top of the league table
