Former Asante Kotoko Skipper has tipped the Porcupine Warriors to win the current league at the expense of the intercontinental club masters.

Techiman Eleven Wonders defender Amos Frimpong sees his former team Asante Kotoko to win the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League campaign over their arch rivals Hearts of Oak.

The two teams are set to lock horns with each other on June 27, 2021 at the Accra Stadium after the first leg ended goalless draw at the Accra stadium; Asante Kotoko adopted Accra stadium as home venue before relocating to the Len Clay stadium in Obuasi currently.

As the two teams share same 53 points, each will be preparing very hard to win the said game since it’s the difficult one in the remaining fixtures for both sides.

However, Amos Frimpong is of the conviction that Kotoko will win the league because he believes Kotoko has upper hand over Hearts in Accra.

“So that game in Accra will be a decider because both teams will win the rest of their games.

“Whoever wins [the game in Accra], wins the league. Amos Frimpong told Germany based Topical Radio.

“And l tip Kotoko to win the League because we have a very good record against them [Hearts of Oak] in Accra and l am confident Kotoko will beat Hearts on that day.” Amos Frimpong, the former Kotoko captain told Frank Agyam of Germany based Topical Radio.

Hearts of Oak will host Legon Cities FC in the matchday 29 at the Accra Stadium whilst Kotoko lock horns with Karela United at home at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi.
