Ghana inflict 3-2 defeat on Switzerland to win UEFA U16 Development Tournament

On Tuesday, Ghana’s Male U-17 team, the Black Starlets, emerged victorious in the UEFA under-16 youth development tournament by defeating Switzerland 3-2.

Ramzy Asumadu scored twice, and Debrah Bossman added a late goal to secure the win in an exciting match that saw the Black Starlets twice surrender their lead.

The victory marked Ghana’s third consecutive win in the tournament, having previously defeated Serbia 4-0 and Spain 3-2.

The Black Starlets finished the tournament with a perfect record of three wins in three games.

The team is expected to return to Ghana on Wednesday after a successful campaign.
