Ghana FA hands five-match ban to Aduana Stars winger Emmanuel Gyamfi over misconduct against Kotoko
Aduana Stars forward Emmanuel Gyamfi has been handed a five-match ban and a fine of Gh¢2,000 following his misconduct in the league game against Asante Kotoko.
Gyamfi was charged by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for a breach of Article 34(6)(d) of the GFA Premier League Regulations, 2019.
A playback of the match footage showed Gyamfi stamping a foot on Kotoko goalkeeper Frederick Asare and pushing down Justice Blay during a Premier League game at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa.
According to the Disciplinary Committee of the FA, he pleaded guilty to the charge.
