Ghana defender Tariq Lamptey starts pre-season training with Brighton

Ghana defender Tariq Lamptey, has begun preseason workouts with Brighton and Hove Albion of the English Premier League.
The 21-year-old, who recently decided to switch from England to Ghana on the international level, worked out with his teammates at the club’s training facility as they prepared for the next campaign.
At the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre, Graham Potter and his team continued their preseason workout regimen with some of the drills and exercises.
Lamptey, who has recently been linked with clubs like Tottenham and Arsenal, had a strong campaign with the Seagulls after they finished in the top half of the Premier League.
His presence will be crucial for the Black Stars ahead of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2022.
The highly-rated right-back who started his career at Chelsea, played 32 times last season for the Seagulls, providing two assists.
He has made a total of 51 outings since joining the club on a permanent deal from Chelsea in 2019.
