Burkinabe striker, Ahmed Toure has said that he is open to returning to his former club Asante Kotoko if he is approached.
The 32-year-old attacker is currently not attached after his contract with Congolese side AS Vita Club ended in May this year.
Toure has previously enjoyed two spells with the Porcupine Warriors. He bagged 12 goals in 28 games for the Porcupine Warriors in the 2011/2012 Ghana Premier League triumph.
Toure left the Reds at the end of that season before rejoining in 2016.
He has expressed his readiness to rejoin the Ghanaian giants although he is in talks with two other clubs in the West African county.
“I am currently in Ivory Coast. I am a free agent, but training with Asec Mimosa just to keep my form.
“I have spoken with several clubs and hopefully by the end of the week I take a decision on my next move, ” he told Hello FM.
“In Ghana, I am speaking with about two clubs. They are good but the final decision will have to come from me.
“It [Kotoko] is my former team so If they approach me I don’t have any problem. I will join them.”
He has also had a stint with Bechem United.
