1 min read

Former Asante Kotoko defender, Patrick Yeboah has cancelled his contract with Ghanaian side Medeama SC after just eight months into a three-year deal.

The 26-year-old left-back decided to put an end to his contract with the Yellow and Maues after the club failed to register him for the second round of the ongoing 2020/21 football season.

Yeboah lost his place in the first-team of the Ghanaian giants after the return of Bright Enchil from injury.

He made only seven outings in the 2020/21 season for the Tarkwa-based club under the tutelage of Samuel Boadu.

Yeboah joined Medeama on a three-year deal from Asante Kotoko before the start of the 2020/2021 football season.

His contract was expected to expire in 2023 but has decided to terminate it due to lack of playing time.
