Exclusive: Samartex 1996 close to securing loan deal for Hearts of Oak defender James Sewornu

Hearts of Oak defender, James Sewornu is close to joining newly-promoted Ghana Premier League side Samartex 1996 on a season-long loan, Footydreamsgh.com can reveal.

Hearts have agreed to let the young defender leave the club on loan this summer after sealing a move for Konadu Yiadom.

Hearts have incredibly high hopes for Sewornu and accept that he had game time difficult to come by considering all the talent bubbling around him and have selected Samartex as the ideal club for the youngster to develop his talent.

The lanky center-back was promoted to the senior team of Hearts from the junior side Auroras in May 2018 but since been struggling to break into the first-team.

The ball-playing defender will be looking to help Samartex to do well in their debut Premier League season.
