Ex-Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah retires from football

Former Black Stars midfielder, Kwadwo Asamoah has announced his retirement from professional football.
The 33-year-old Ghanaian has been without a club since 2021 when he left Italian side Cagliari after the expiration of his contract.
He is beginning a new career as a football agent.
Asamoah is widely recognized as one of the greatest African players to have graced the green pitch. In his prime at Juventus and Inter Milan, he was regarded as one of the best midfielders in the world.
He started his professional football career with local club Liberty Professionals before moving abroad.
The former Juventus star played a key role at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa where Ghana finished in the Quarter Finals and the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
He featured 74 times for the Black Stars, scoring 4 goals with many assists.
Kwadwo Asamoah will be mostly remembered for his dedication and commitment on the pitch.
