Ex-German defender Jerome Boateng reacts to Ghana’s FIFA World Cup 2022 qualification

Ex-Bayern Munich defender Jerome Agyenim Boateng has applauded the efforts of the Black Stars following their qualification to Qatar 2022.

The German-born central defender, who is of Ghanaian parentage, reconnected to his roots on the back of Ghana’s incredible feat in Abuja.

Ghana booked their fourth appearance at the FIFA World Cup at the expense of sworn rivals Nigeria in a nerve-shredding encounter staged at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium.

Ghana will be making their fourth appearance at the perennial competition in Qatar.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup is slated to kick-start on November 21.
