Ex-Asante Kotoko coach Maurice Coleman reportedly dies aged 79

Former head coach of Asante Kotoko Maurice Coleman has reportedly passed on.

He gave up the ghost after battling ailment for the past months in his native Belgium.

The former gaffer of the Porcupines died, aged 79.

Coleman took over from Bashir Hayford who had won the Ghana Premier League in a grand style a season before.

However, he failed to build on Hayford’s success and in the end suffered sacking following a defeat to Hearts of Oak in Kumasi during the 2008-09 season.
