1 min read

Administrative Manager of Asante Kotoko, Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi, has officially departed from the club.

Dasoberi, who joined the esteemed Ghanaian team in September 2020, played a crucial role in its administrative and operational functions.

Although his original three-year contract ended last year, his expertise and leadership were so highly regarded that he was later appointed to the Interim Management Committee (IMC) to manage administrative affairs during the club’s transition.

Dasoberi is now embarking on a new career path with the Confederation of African Football (CAF), where he will join as a permanent staff member.

Prior to this, he served as the Club Licensing Manager for the Ghana Football Association (GFA) until he resigned in September 2020. In 2017, he was appointed by CAF as a Club Licensing Instructor and Stadium Inspector, a role he has held since.

Furthermore, the FIFA Professional Football Department recognized his talents, selecting him as one of two Club Licensing Managers globally to participate in its inaugural FIFA Exchange Program in Qatar.

This new role is expected to harness his vast experience and skills, benefiting the wider African football governance and operations.
