Dutch-born Ghanaian youngsters sign first professional contracts with Ajax

On Wednesday, two Ghanaian youth players born in the Netherlands signed their first professional contract with Ajax.
Don-Angelo Konadu and Avery Appiah signed retroactive agreements, valid from April 1, 2023, until June 30, 2025.
Konadu, born in Amsterdam on May 3, 2006, has been part of the Ajax youth academy since 2014 and currently plays as a striker for the Ajax U17 team. He is recovering from an injury.
Appiah, born on April 2, 2006, in Zoetermeer, is a midfielder and also part of the Ajax U17 team.
He joined the Ajax academy in the summer of 2020, after starting his education at Sparta and later joining Feyenoord’s youth academy.
