Dr Kwame Kyei buys Anane Boateng Stadium for sons

Asante Kotoko Board Chairman, Dr Kwame Kyei has acquired the ultra-modern stadium at Abrankese, christened the Anane Boateng Stadium from Mr Kwabena Kesse popularly known as Kessben at an undisclosed amount, Myfabulousonline.com can confirm.
The 12,000 capacity stadium located at Abrankese near Kuntenase in the Bosomtwe District of Ashanti Region was opened in 2007 and was the home venue for Kessben FC, now Medeama SC.
Dr Kyei who has already initiated renovation works at the facility purchased the stadium for his two sons, Divine Kyei Boadu (President of BYFA) and Paul Kyei (Board Member of BYFA) who are the owners of Division One club, Bekwai Youth Football Academy (BYFA) to support their project.
The stadium, according to Myfabulousonline source will be used by the BYFA academy side with the senior team been stationed at Bekwai for their DOL games.
BYFA are in Zone two of the National Division One. The club secured promotion into the country’s second-tier league in 2017 and are yet to qualify for the Ghanaian top-flight since.
