Diawisie Taylor To Miss Ghana U-24 Game Against Japan Today

The Ghana U-24 forward is set to miss today’s Black Meteors fixture against the Samurai of Japan due to Covid-19 reasons.

The Ghana U-24 forward Diawisie Taylor will miss today’s fixture against Japan U-24 team according to Ghana Football Association, reason being that Taylor’s covid-19 results is inconclusive and upon the advise of Japan health authorities, will have to be isolated for a while.

Team Ghana received a negative PCR results in Ghana before the continents emplaned to Japan however, upon further test taken at the Narita Airport in Japan, saw Taylor been on record to have had an inconclusive results, and therefore, will have to stay behind to undergo further tests.

Taylor is currently isolated in hotel. He’s in Good condition and high spirit. There is a communication going on between the player and the team so that the player will not feel neglected or any sense of loneliness.

The Officials of the Ghana Embassy in Japan provide local dishes to the player whilst at Hotel.

The rest of the team have been undergoing covid-19 test and receiving negative results required before the commencement of the game.

The Team continue to observe all the Covid-19 Protocols in Japan to the satisfaction of the Japan Football Association (JFA) and the country’s health authorities.

Ghana U-24 team lock horns with Japan U-24 team in their first game on Saturday evening at 19:28 local time (10:28am in Ghana) at the Best Denki Stadium in Fukuoka, Japan.
