DAY 4 results of 2023 Ashanti Regional Inter-school Boys’ Soccer Competition: T.I AMASS-Kumasi knockout KASS, OKESS, SIMMS advance to semis

The 2023 Ashanti Regional Inter-school and Colleges Boys’ Soccer Competition continued with quarterfinals fixtures on Monday, July 31, 2023, producing exciting moments at the Baba Yara Stadium.
T. I. Amass, Kumasi made it to the semi finals after a beautiful display of soccer artistery in the first game of the day.
The opening match of the four quarter finals matches of the day saw last year finalist T. I. Amass dictating the pace of the game against Kumasi Anglican SHS and creating some descent matches.
T.I. Amass managed to convert two of their chances, and held on to win the first quarter final match of the day sealing a place in the semi final.
In the second match of the day, high flying Simms SHS led by female coach Sandra Boakye, the only female Coach in the tournament and a licenced Coach were too good for Islamic SHS. The Fawoade based school did not sweat to win this game as they controlled the game with some beautiful passing game to the admiration of the numerous fans gathered at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Simms took three goals lead with some beautiful well-worked out goals as Islamic pulled one back to late in the game to make it 3-1.
The results was a fair reflection of the game as Islamic were uninspiring in the encounter.
Osei Kyeretwie SHS are also through to the semi finals after drawing 1-1 with Mankranso. An early red card for Mankranso SHS weakened their team as they struggled to compete.
OKESS managed a lone goal but Mankranso equalized in the dying embers of the game as OKESS won 3-0 on penalties to seal a semi final berth.
