DAY 1 & 2 Results of 2022 Ashanti Regional Inter-school boys soccer competition; check out qualified teams

Strong conteders Adu Gyamfi SHS, Opoku Ware School, Obuasi SHTS all secured qualification to the Round of 32 at the end of Day 1 qualifiers today in the ongoing inter school soccer qualifiers for Ashanti Region. Mpasatia SHTS, Toase SHS, Tweneboa Kodua SHS and St Michael’s SHS also qualified at the seven centers after close of games today.
Micheal Opoku’s Adu Gyamfi SHS were too good for the other schools as they withered the storm to pick all 9 points on the day.
The 6 times champions are back with a bang. Tactical Sabuto’s Opoku Ware School bounced back after a long hiatus with the Licence A Coach doing wonders after rejoining his alma mater Opoku Ware School. Yak’s Obuasi SHTS were too good for the other fours schools as they won their subgroup before accounting for Beposo in the final game.
Agona SHTS proved too strong for the other schools as they secured qualification at KASS center.
Toase are doing so well at every front and today the Atwima Nwabiagya based school secured qualification to the Baba Yara Stadium. Tweneboa Kodua SHS are back while Ahenkro based St. Michael’s SHS will be delighted after a long try.
However, with some schools threatening to lodge various protest for schools not fully vaccinating before the game, we wait to see how things will pun out. Below are some results from some centers.

DAY 2 RESULTS
St Jerome SHS has kicked soccer power house Kumasi High School out of the competition in one of the most surprising results of Day 2 qualifiers.
Aduman are through to the next round of competition while Jacobu SHS are also through to the next round of Competition.
Good old Osei Kyeretwie SHS are also through to Baba Yara Stadium.
Tepa SHS will also make an appearance at the Baba Yara Stadium after securing qualification from their zone whil Konongo Odumasi also took the sole ticket from their zone.
Juaben SHS have secured qualification to the next round of competition.
