Danlad Ibrahim and Issahaku Fatawu to pocket $5k each from President Akufo-Addo

Ghana President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has promised to give an amount of $5,000 each to the Best Playe of the recently ended U-20 Africa Cup of Nations tournament, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku.
He also announced a $5,000 cash prize to Black Satellites goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim.
The Asante Kotoko shot-stopper was adjudged the best goalkeeper of the competition after keeping four clean sheets and conceding just three goals.
The president’s promise comes after the contingent of the Ghana U-20 side visited him at the Flagstaff House to present to him the trophy won in Mauritania.
Coach Abdul Karim Zito’s Black Satellites defeated Uganda 2-0 in the final on Saturday, March 6, 2021.
Ghana last won the tournament in 2009, and fourth overall.
The duo – who were named in the Best XI for the tournament – were instrumental in Karim Zito’s team.
As a congratulatory gesture, the President, Nana Akuffo Addo has pledged to gift the two players an amount of $5,000 each.
