Court adjourns Ashantigold vs Ghana FA case, sets new date for hearing

Accra Human Rights High Court has maintained suspension on the 2022-23 BetPawa Premier League after few hours of hearing in court on Friday.

Ashanti Gold SC dragged the Ghana Football Association to Court over defamation of character following the suspension of Club President Dr Kwaku Frimpong and CEO Emmanuel Frimpong having being handcuffed of match manipulations.

On Friday, October 14 Court invited both parties for hearing.

Hence, hearing for Ashanti Gold’s injunction request against the Ghana Premier League been postponed until Thursday, October 20, 2022.

The Ghana Premier League continues to be on hold.
