Cote d’Ivoire to host 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League

CAF has announced that Côte d’Ivoire will host the 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League, according to a communique on the Ghana Football Association’s website.
The decision to select Côte d’Ivoire as the host country for the CAF Women’s Champions League 2023 was made by the Executive Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), as stated in the Ghana FA communique.
This event will provide an opportunity for Côte d’Ivoire to test the facilities that will be utilized for the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations Côte d’Ivoire 2023, scheduled for the following year.
The 2023 edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League will mark the third installment of the tournament.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies is the likely representative from Ghana in the upcoming edition. However, they must first qualify from the WAFU Zone B to secure their participation in the tournament.
