An Executive Council member of the Ghana Football Association [GFA], Dr Randy Abbey is confident the Black Stars will scale past Nigeria at their own backyard to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The Black Stars who were slightly ahead of the Super Eagles were held to a 0-0 draw at the Baba Yara Stadium on Friday night.
Ghana dominated possession, recorded the most shots and kept Super Eagles’ star-studded attack at bay in front of a large crowd in Kumasi.
In an interview with Kumasi-based Akoma FM monitored by Footydreamsgh.com, Randy Abbey is certain the stars will leave no stone unturned against the Eagles.
“It was a very good game, we were unlucky not to have won the game, but there’s another opportunity on Tuesday, so we will go out there, kill ourselves and get the job done”
“Absolutely, Ghana is qualifying ahead of Nigeria”
The playing body together with the technical team will depart Ghana on Monday morning for the game scheduled on Tuesday.
The Black Stars who are four times African champions are racing for their fourth World Cup appearance having missed out in the last edition hosted in Russia in 2018.
