Black Starlets held by Niger in a friendly game ahead of WAFU B U-17 Cup

The Black Starlets of Ghana were held to a goalless stalemate by their Nigerien counterparts in a friendly game on Friday.
The game forms part of preparations as two teams are continue their preparations ahead of the WAFU U-17 Championship which kicks off this month.
Ghana have been housed with Nigeria and Cote D’Ivoire in the Group stage of this year’s competition.
The upcoming Wafu B Cup will serve as qualifiers for the 2021 U-17 Afcon in Morocco, where the four quarter-finalists will earn tickets for the 2021 U-17 World Cup.
Other countries to participate in the competition are Benin, Togo, Niger and Burkina Faso.
