Ghana’s Black Maidens will face Morocco in the final qualifying play-off for the 2022 FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup after progressing past Guinea 10-1 on aggregate.
The Maidens gave goalkeeper Coumbassa a baptism of fire in Cape Coast as they defeated Guinea 7-0 in the second leg qualifier on Saturday, following a 3-1 win in Conakry in the reverse fixture on April 16.

Midfielder Nancy Amoh opened the scoring for Ghana in the 12th minute with an expertly struck corner-kick that landed on the blind side of goalkeeper Coumbassa.
Captain Georgina Ayisha doubled Ghana’s lead with a long range strike in the 18th minute before Nancy Amoh registered her brace in the 29th minute with another corner-kick that went straight into the net.
Back from half-time, super-sub Dejean Kubura, who came on for attacker Miriam Maltiti Iddi, made it 3-0 in the 49th minute and Mary Amponsah increased the tally in the 53th minute.

Winger Constance Serwaa Agyemang, who came off the bench to replace Rasheeda Shahadu, also recorded a brace after placing the ball past Goalkeeper Coumbassa in the 70th minute and then scored from an expertly converted freekick in the 81st minute.
The Black Maidens need to beat Morocco over two legs in the India 2022 qualifying play-off to book a spot for the U-17 World Cup, which kicks off on October 11, 2022.
