Bibiani Gold Stars forward Ibrahim Laar sets 18-goal target

Bibiani Gold Stars striker Ibrahim Laar has set an aim of scoring 18 goals in the 2022/23 season of the Ghana Premier League.
On Match-day 5 at the Dun’s Park, Laar scored a brace against last-place King Faisal to begin his goal tally for the ongoing season.

The former Danbort FC forward bagged 10 goals in 25 games last season for relegated Techiman Eleven Wonders.
Laar, 25, believes despite opening his goal account after five games, he is working hard to improve his numbers this season.
“My target is to score between 15 and 18 goals this season. Yes, I had to wait till matchday 5 to start scoring but I will work towards achieving this,” he told Asempa FM on Monday.
According to Laar, he hopes to play for Spanish giants Real Madrid in the near future.
