Bibiani Gold Stars CEO confident of victory over Asante Kotoko

The Chief Executive for Bibiani Gold Stars, Akwasi Adu, has disclosed to Akoma FM that his side will be the first to inflict the first defeat to Prosper Narteh’s Porcupines on Friday.
The ‘Gye Nyame’ club has made an impressive start to life in the elite division of Ghana Football with a win and draw against Berekum Chelsea and Medeama.
However, next on their fixture chart is the visit of the league leaders and 24-times league champions, Asante Kotoko, who are on a run of two wins.
Buoyed by their stalemate in Tarkwa on Tuesday afternoon, the newcomers are confident of ending the Porcupine Warriors’ perfect start.

“Gold Stars can’t be overshadowed by Kotoko on Friday at Dun’s Park.” The optimistic CEO stressed.
“We are going to match them, and I can assure you that Gold Stars is going to pick all three points.”
The Northern Western club also reiterated the need for spectators to observe the Covid-19 protocols, adding that the park would only admit 4,000 people.
“Our gate fees for the game will be 50gh and 20gh for VIP and Popular stands respectively. Also, all Covid protocols will be observed, 4000 tickets will be printed, so football fans who are interested should be at the stadium on time.” He concluded.
