Berekum Chelsea part ways with head coach Hesseh-Damtten

Ghana Premier League side Berekum Chelsea have parted ways with the head coach of the side Michael Hesse Oamtten.

The former Hearts of Oak player joined the Bibiries before the commencement of the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League.

His side has, however, struggled to perform as expected hence the sack. He becomes the 5th coaching casualty in the 7-week-old league.

Winless Legon Cities sacked Goran Barjaktarević just after two games in the season. Asante Kotoko fired Maxwell Konadu after a 1-0 defeat to King Faisal.

Hearts Of Oak the other hand, demoted Edward Nii Ofoom to their Junior side for Kosta Papic and King Faisal brought in Andy Sinason to replace Slaviša Božičić.

The Golden City boys are without a win in their last three matches and need a turnaround on Sunday against Inter Allies at the Golden City Park. 

The 2011 champions  drew their last match at home- 1-1 with Aduana Stars-making it imperative to win their week 8 fixture.

Berekum Chelsea are lying 15th on the 18-club league log with 6 points.
